Reading Habits Tag

Found this tag on my favorite book-blogger's blog, Stefani Sugia (as usual LOL!). And I've decided to give it a go since I couldn't remember the last time I did a book-related tag :D

This tag was originally started by The Book Jazz on Youtube (the video dated 3 years ago. Gosh I'm so late about this!). Well, I never know that book-thing can be uploaded to Youtube as well. This is amazing! :D

Anyway, if you wanna do this tag, be my guess. You can pick up the questions here on my post or on The Book Jazz's Youtube channel, it's all up to you. Meanwhile, enjoy my answers! ^^

Do you have a certain place at home for reading?
Yes. On the sofa in the livingroom. Lying on it ;)

Bookmark or random piece of paper?
Unless the book has bookmark included, I'm gonna use something else. I keep a stack of thin small post-its nearby, so when I need something to mark the page I can grab it easily. Actually I have some real bookmarks, but they're basically for collection since they're all in cat theme :3 #CatLadyProblems

Can you just stop reading or do you have to stop after a chapter/a certain amount of pages?
If it's urgent or I'm too tired, I can stop anytime. But basically, I'd prefer stop after finishing a chapter or a page. Finish at the last line of a page will help me to find where to start next in an ease. If I finish in the middle of a page, I will have to find it which sentence I've read last and most of the time confused and end up starting from the beginning of the page. It's not efficient!

Do you eat or drink while reading?
Nope. If you're wondering why: because both of my hands holding both sides of the book and sometimes the book is heavy. So, reading and holding a book with one hand while the other hand grabbing the snacks or drink is not my ideal way to enjoy my reading time.

Multitasking: Music or TV while reading?
Both. But I listen to music through laptop these days and I don't read books while using laptop. So, it's kinda rare for me to have some tracks playing while reading. However, sometimes I read books when I don't wanna miss some shows on TV. So, I'll read when the TV commercial is on ;)

One book at a time or several at once?
I used to read one book at a time but I become bored easily as I growing up. I have a stack of books I haven't finished reading and yet still eagerly trying to open a new one and buy even more :D

Reading at home or everywhere?
Preferably at home since I can't concentrate when I'm outside. Too many distraction and when I'm outside, I'd prefer doing something other than reading. Watching people, for instance ;)

Reading out lout or silently in your head?
Definitely in silent mode. Well, I can't imagine reading Harry Potter books out loud, the whole 7. Those who do that should win an award or something. LOL!

Do you read ahead or even skip pages?
I wanna make a confession: I skipped some pages when I read New Moon. I skipped the parts where it's Jacob's point of few, I found it less interesting than Bella's so I jumped to the other part where I could find Bella's again. However, I tend to skip pages when the book is starting to bore me a.k.a extremely slow plot.

Breaking the spine or keeping it like new?
Keeping it like new, for real! Even my school/college textbooks still look like new.

Do you write in your books?
I used to write my name and leave a signature on the right corner of the first page. But since I bought more and more books, I don't even remember or think about write anything anywhere >.<!

Who do you tag?
If you read books, you should do it! It's fun, easy and FUN! :D Go, open your "New Post" page and start typing!
