The Aftermath

Sudah lama ya?

Terakhir saya tulis post di sini awal tahun ini dan belum ada post baru lagi sejak itu. Well, sebenernya ada sih, cuma belum kelar ditulis jadi numpuk-numpuk di list draft hehehe Saya putuskan buat menulis lagi karena kali ini temanya nggak perlu prepare yang gimana-gimana (seperti draft post yang udah saya tulis tapi belum publish juga itu LOL!), tinggal keluarin aja semua yang ada di dalam kepala dan tulis di sini :D

Anyway, saya cuma mau cerita soal sedikit bagian hidup saya belakangan ini. Ini kisah yang terasa surreal karena saya ngerasain keajaiban yang diberikan Allah.

Setelah berbulan-bulan menunda, bergumul dengan pikiran, depresi yang semakin menumpuk dan rasa nggak nyaman yang terus menghantui, akhirnya satu tugas hidup saya berhasil saya lalui; lulus sebagai mahasiswa.

August Haul - Super Huge Reward

Nggak terasa udah setahun sejak kali pertama saya post soal haul di blog ini. Eh, tiba-tiba udah Agustus lagi aja ya. Time flies so freakin' fast! >.< 

Anyway, pada kesempatan kali ini saya mau share hasil belanjaan saya bulan ini di toko buku diskon favorit, Togamas :D Ada novel dan komik, ada juga stationary lucu. Yuk kita bedah satu-satu...

Beli novel-novel ini kebetulan semuanya adalah novel lanjutan alias sekuel. Ya, Silence adalah novel lanjutan seri Hush, Hush. Lalu A Dash of Magic adalah kelanjutan trilogi Bliss Bakery dan Magic Lessons adalah novel ke-2 dari seri Magic or Madness (I bought it on sale for only IDR 20K! :D). Sebenernya kemarin mau beli kelanjutan Abandon juga, tapi di Togamas yang Underworld lagi out of stock. Sisanya tinggal buku ke-3, saya enggan kalau beli buku seri tapi nggak lengkap begitu. Takut rawan nggak kebaca karena nungguin lengkap -_-" Akhirnya saya urung beli dan melenggang ke bagian stationary ;)

Nah, kalau yang ini semuanya tentang kucing! :3 Itu majalah Flona nggak sengaja lihat waktu di rak dan asal comot aja, waktu liat tag harganya di rumah, mahal juga yak! >.< Edisi bulan ini kebetulan Anjing dan Kucing, cocok nih buat yang pelihara Anjing dan Kucing di rumah ^^

Trus beli komik Poyo-poyo juga edisi terbaru, kalau nggak salah inget mestinya yang terbaru volume #13 sih. Kalau nggak salah... hehehe 

Waktu keliling bagian stationary, inget kalau butuh stipo yang model kayak plester itu lho. Nah di raknya kebetulan liat ada yang gambarnya kucing dan pilih-pilih ada yang warna ungu! Langsung ambil aja, harganya juga murah cuma IDR 3500 :D 

Kemudian di bagian post-its, nggak sengaja lihat sticky note ini dan tanpa lihat tag harga langsung masukin aja ke tas belanjaan :D

Golden treasure hari itu adalah komik Sailormoon! Dari SD, saya suka nonton Sailormoon di TV. Dulu sih ditayangin di Indosiar ya tiap sore gitu, lama-lama entah hilang sendiri -_-" Selain nonton di TV, saya juga suka baca komiknya hasil minjem di rental :D Sampai kemarin waktu ke Togamas nggak sengaja nemuin ini, masih volume #1 pula. Cuma agak kaget, harganya lebih mahal dari kebanyakan komik. Tapi ini halamannya lebih tebal sih, mungkin karena itu juga.

Alright, gimana? Ada yang udah belanja-belanja buku bulan ini? ^^

March Haul - Forgotten

Hi guys!

Ini postingan yang terlupakan bahahaha Mestinya di-post bulan Maret lalu yak, tapi saya lupa kalau udah ambil foto segala. Jadi baru ditulis dan di-post sekarang deh :D

Anyway, bulan Maret lalu saya beli beberapa komik (still, tentang kucing) dan satu novel terbaru dari penulis Indonesia favorit saya, Sitta Karina.

Trus juga belanja beberapa stationary kayak stamp bergambar kucing lucu ini :3 sama post-it warna-warni karena punya saya yang lama tiba-tiba raib. Belakangan waktu saya tanya nyokap, ternyata dibawa ke kantor -_-"

Beberapa minggu kemudian saya juga beli buku-buku baru dan agak overshop karena kalap liat diskon 30% (kalau nggak salah inget) semua buku terbitan Gramedia di Togamas :p

Baiklah, sekian laporan haul yang tertunda. Doakan bisa lebih sering belanja-belanja buku lagi yak (dan makeup :p #teteup) biar bisa rutin post di sini. Siapa tau bisa update review juga ;) #alibi

Hi guys!

I found this tag from Amy of A Little Boat Sailing and I think it's gonna be fun to do this tag since I rarely (or never!) do any tags about books. Here we go!

What was the last book you marked as read?

I'm gonna write it down proudly: A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. I just finished it last Sunday :D It's a classic children story, but I guess the kids have to be able to read a long text to understand the story. Since it's not suitable to read before going to bed (pretty long, unless you read the shorter-illustrated version   if it's available). However, I always love a story about being a princess and the like. It always teaches me something and reminds me to go that way :)

What are you currently reading?

Well, I have bunch of books I need to finish so I think I'm not gonna start to open a new one (no matter how bad I wanna do that!), you can check them (yes, it's more than 1) on my Goodreads' currently reading list [ here ]. Among them, you'll find Class (previously Cum Laude), a YA novel written by the same author of Gossip Girl, Cecily von Ziegesar. Also, the infamous Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote.

What was the last book you marked as to read?

Since I'm pretty handy on ticking those little boxes, so I'm gonna go with By Nightfall by Michael Cunningham. But I've lost the book somewhere in my house since last year :( Let's hope I can find it soon *finger-crossed*

What do you plan to read next?

I have so many books to finish, so it's kinda difficult to choose to be honest :p I think I'm gonna continue to read Class again and try to finish it this time (like I did with A Little Princess). Wish me luck! ^^

Of course! I like completing those little columns as long as it doesn't require a date task ;)

Are you doing a 2014 reading challenge?

Unfortunately, I'm not. Well, the reason might sounds pretty lame: it's because I'm afraid I can't fulfill it :p

What book do you want to buy next?

Well, I'm still curious about how The Bliss Bakery Trilogy (by Littlewood Kathryn) will continue. So, next time I visit a bookstore, I guess I'm gonna grab a copy of the sequels. Oh and the rest 2 books of Abandon trilogy by Meg Cabot! :D

Who are your favourite authors?

The very very favourite are Meg Cabot (for English books author) and Sitta Karina (for Indonesian books). Most of Meg's books accompany me through my awkward teens life and I still have them all and read them back again sometimes :) And Sitta Karina's stories always look real and she can write a story as it happens in reality, she used to inspire me a lot to write my own novel     well, back when schedule wasn't too cruel like today.

Have you joined any groups?

I have, but I'm not too active on those groups. I join because I wanna stay update to the news about the books I'm reading (or plan to read someday!). Sometimes fan-girling over hot  male characters :p

1st Year of Tama Living in My House

Oh well, 2014 huh?

I know that I rarely update this blog (and spend mostly my time on the other one), but I would never abandon this blog. This is my first blog and I saved most of my life stories here.

And today, in this very special day, I'd like to start writing the first post in 2014 by telling you a story about my Cat, Tama. Why is it so special? Because today is the day Tama first arrived in my house a year ago :)

I lost Kaisar Bo because he ran away from my house and never came back, I've tried to search all over my neighborhood for days but I think he's not a real house cat since he didn't like to stay inside my house. He seemed to find a way to escape and stayed outside. 

I was sad, at the first time. But not as sad as I lost Mao, because I know Bo is not mine in the first place. I got it from my cousin who found it in his dorm house then my Dad said that maybe that's how Bo found wandering around outside. Because he didn't like to stay in the house and tends to escape all the time.

Well, all I can say was "Let it go, let it go..." and get a new cat not long after that. My little brother's friend has some kittens and offered him one, I picked a Siamese kitten over a grey Persian kitten. I love grey cats but I still can't take my eyes away from British short-hair (gotta have one someday!) and I tend to have more interests on short-hair cats right now (I can't stand the shedding part -_-*).
